Ja Film is right now in production with our very own tv-series MONSTER LOVING MANIACS

co-produced with Ginger Pictures (BE), Belvision (BE) and Mondo TV (I) and distributed by Toon2Tango.

 

Three kids are sent to the town of Gruselbrook to live with their grandfather for the summer. They quickly realise that grandpa is a genuine monster hunter who has spent a lifetime battling the supernatural. The monster hunter invites his grandchildren on a journey of training and discovery to one day become the next generation of hunters. The old man sees himself as a great mentor but he is about to get schooled by his rebellious grandchildren. These kids are massive, all knowing horror fans. They love dangerous paranormal creatures, and they always find a way to to save the monsters.

 

MONSTER LOVING MANIACS is written/directed by Rune Christensen, and written/produced by Anders Berthelsen. The series was selected for Creative Europe’s slate funding 2019 and Cartoon Forum’s pitching sessions the same year. Since then the series has been pre-sold to broadcasters in Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Germany.
